Not our regular movie to go see but when I heard this was a Luc Besson action film. I was going to at least check it out. This action thriller of a Russian model /assassin tries to get her life back by doing jobs that would get her out of the KGB but keeps caught up with the CIA and her KGB handlers.
Sooooo, Alicia and I go to the last of the Marvel series for Fox. The last of the X-men series. regardless of the bad reviews, we wanted to see this Marvel movie and see if this would transition to the Disney MCU or will it be a closure of the X-men saga. Again will we be watching a good closing of the series or will this be another throw away movie based on Fox not giving 2 F's now that they won't make any more money from it.
Really big fans of the John Wick series. We couldn’t wait to go see Part # of the series. Alicia and I always go to the movies to see a John Wick film because its huge, has big excitement with how they are made. We were looking for a continued exciting movie experience and boy did it not disappoint.
so this Netflix original is all about revenge of course. An ex cop whose family was killed by a gangster that was sent to a criminal prison on an island. Finds his way to the island to exact his revenge. Along the way he encounters other crimminals that are at war with each other while he attempts to find the murderer. Korean action drama.
Now this fast pace action super drama is somethingI didn’t expect even though the reviews said to be prepared. A triad soldier decides to go against the wishes of the clan based on the killing of a little girl. Then he becomes the target. But he is not so easily to kill. Over the top some times and very gory. But Very entertaining.
Ito, a gangland enforcer, is caught amidst a treacherous and violent insurrection within his Triad crime family.
I'm trying my best to be very fair and objective when i watch Marvel movies and DC movies. But after seeing the weak Justice League production, I wasn't very inspired to see the new release of a DC character on their own. Successful Wonder woman, Legacy Batman movies and Lackluster Superman reimagined movies. But we gave the new Jason Momoa a chance to shine on his own as Aquaman.
So you know - we did go see the first equalizer when it came out in the movies and i watched the TV series growing up. I barely recalled anything about it but remember this series and the night stalker series. We review the first movie by Denzel Washington then go into the newly released one. Full transparency, I didn't really like the first one.
If you have a problem and there is nowhere else to turn, the mysterious and elusive Robert McCall will deliver the vigilante justice you seek. This time, however, McCall's past cuts especially close to home when thugs kill Susan Plummer -- his best friend and former colleague. Now out for revenge, McCall must take on a crew of highly trained assassins who'll stop at nothing to destroy him
So Alicia and I loved the first movie for Deadpool and was looking forward to the next release. This one seems to be about a lot of supporting characters with Deadpool in the center of it all. We sit down laugh, scream and criticize the part 2 version of his second release of this Deadpool franchise.
Foul-mouthed mutant mercenary Wade Wilson (AKA. Deadpool), brings together a team of fellow mutant rogues to protect a young boy of supernatural abilities from the brutal, time-traveling mutant, Cable.
We were taking it easy today and decided to go see the new tomb raider movie with the new popular actress Alicia Vikander. We also decided to see the Angelina Jolie version all over again as well to see how much we remembered it and how good it was as well. We took the opportunity to compare the two and see if it this new version was worth the remake of the remake of this popular video game.
Lara Croft is the fiercely independent daughter of an eccentric adventurer who vanished years earlier. Hoping to solve the mystery of her father's disappearance, Croft embarks on a perilous journey to his last-known destination -- a fabled tomb on a mythical island that might be somewhere off the coast of Japan. The stakes couldn't be higher as Lara must rely on her sharp mind, blind faith and stubborn spirit to venture into the unknown
Alicia and I start to jump into our Summer movies by checking out Spielberg's movie, video game virtual reality extravaganza. The big hype is the visuals and the iconic images from the past showing up in the movie but we see if this was just another Hunger games technical upgrade.
From filmmaker Steven Spielberg comes the science fiction action adventure “Ready Player One,” based on Ernest Cline’s bestseller of the same name. The film is set in 2045, with the world on the brink of chaos and collapse. When Halliday dies, he leaves his immense fortune to the first person to find a digital Easter egg he has hidden somewhere in the OASIS, sparking a contest that grips the entire world. When an unlikely young hero named Wade Watts (Tye Sheridan) decides to join the contest, he is hurled into a breakneck, reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical universe of mystery, discovery and danger
