Sean and I go through a short review of some releases in June that may have been overlooked because of the massive amount of big names releasing something almost as a competition on who's who and whats better. We review the "Freddie" from Freddie Gibbs and "Streams of Thought, vol 1, by Black Thought.
Kids see Ghost: Kid Cudi / Kanye West
We jump into the 3rd installment of the Kanye production month with the release of "Kids see Ghost". The collaboration with Kanye and Kid Cudi on their 7 track release. Fans of Kid Cudi we absolutely have our opinion of what we think of the overall production.

As this is Kanye's month (June). We start with his solo release Ye! Even tho the album covers says,"I hate being bi-polar - its awesome". Somebody is still a fan and somebody is done with his sh*t!! But we both know that he is still one of the best producers out now. we break it down!!
LiL Baby: Harder than ever
We delve back into trap music and review LIL Baby's Harder than ever 17 track release. Since we have heard so much coming from the trap music community as well as the folks from Quality Control. Sean throws this young rapper on the table to review and get a good listen too. A freshman for 2018, so we wonder if he will be part of the XXL freshman class of 2018.
Royce da 5'9 : Book of Ryan
We return to reviewing R5 after being disappointed by the Pryhme release with Premier. We open up this new release "Book of Ryan" and he takes us to some where we did not think he could. We listened to so many artist spill their soul into their music but did not think it would be Royce adding to the quality of music being released. Check it out
Childish Gambino - This is America
Because of the hype and interpretation of Donald Glover's alter ego Childish Gambino. We talk briefly about the newly released video "This is America". J. Cole K.O.D new release
We were so surprised with the new release of the new J. Cole release K.O.D. First that it came out with no pre-release fanfare, And with this different style he choose on this release, we hold our breath and break these tracks down to see if this is another J Cole masterpiece.

PRhyme 2 (Royce da 5'9" & DJ Premier)
Sean and I sit down and review the legendary DJ premier and Royce da 5'9" with their 2nd release from their collaboration PRhyme. To me its about the production and giving props to Royce da 5'9" for putting out a stable release.

Phonte / Foreign Exchange 2018 Review
Today we are pleasantly surprised by this new release by the Rapper Phonte. I know him from his collaboration with the Dutch producer Nicolay and their group called the Foreign Exchange. Sean knows him from his time with the rap group called "Little Brother". We check out his new release "No news is good news"
