J. Cole K.O.D new release

We were so surprised with the new release of the new J. Cole release K.O.D.  First that it came out with no pre-release fanfare,  And with this different style he choose on this release, we hold our breath and break these tracks down to see if this is another J Cole masterpiece.

KOD is the fifth studio album by American rapper J. Cole. It was released on April 20, 2018 through Dreamville Records, Roc Nation and Interscope Records.

Flatbush Zombies: Vacation in Hell

Sean and I sit down to review one of BK's most oddest group.  The Flatbush Zombies.not every hearing from this group before.  I was pleasantly surprise to hear their 19 track release with a few features that went very well with this release

PRhyme 2 (Royce da 5'9" & DJ Premier)

Sean and I sit down and review the legendary DJ premier and Royce da 5'9" with their 2nd release from their collaboration PRhyme.  To me its about the production and giving props to Royce da 5'9" for putting out a stable release.

PRhyme is an American hip hop duo composed of Detroit-based rapper Royce da 5'9" and New York-based record producer DJ Premier. They created their own record label PRhyme Records and released their first album, PRhyme, on December 9, 2014, and its follow-up, PRhyme 2, on March 16, 2018 The production of each album is based on sampling a single artist's compositions: Adrian Younge for PRhyme and AntMan Wonder for PRhyme 2

Phonte / Foreign Exchange 2018 Review

Today we are pleasantly surprised by this new release by the Rapper Phonte.  I know him from his collaboration with the Dutch producer Nicolay and their group called the Foreign Exchange.  Sean knows him from his time with the rap group called "Little Brother".  We check out his new release "No news is good news"

Tory Lanez new release : memories don't die

Part two of our music review is our Canadian addition, Tory Lanez.  Which as a new listener to his complete album I had a different outlook about this guy.  The R&B/ rap artist we add our view and perspective of a release that is totally reminicent of his fellowcanadian counterparts.  This is a something Tory should be proud of.

Xxxtentacion new release "?"

This week we drop in on two artist we felt was worthy of being highlighted with their new releases.  One of the release I personally was looking forward to is the XXXtentacion new release. With our previous review of his "Debut release 17" we didn't know what we were going to get especially after the SYRE release by Jaden Smith. And by the way, he's number 1 on the billboard chart.    

Tech N9ne music review Part 1

For this two part music review, we review Tech n9ne and SyAri da Kid.  We go through these two artist old and new releases that have diverse and creative histories, We start with the prolific veteran from Kansas City, Tech n9ne.  We discuss his previous work and his current release.  With Tech n9ne unique style, it makes you rethink the current change of hip hop today.
