Vice (motion picture) 2018

So this one was another one of those movies that I hoped I would learn from as well as observe how so many government politicians welded power. Sitting through this I almost forgot about the corruption of the Bush administration as well as how our government was infiltrated by power hungry bureaucrats. Pretty amazing satire of true events of Dick Cheneys life.

Governor George W Bush of Texas picks Dick Cheney, the CEO of Halliburton Co, to be his Republican running mate in the 2000 presidential election. No stranger to politics, Cheney's impressive résumé includes stints as White House chief of staff, House Minority Whip and defence secretary. When Bush wins by a narrow margin, Cheney begins to use his newfound power to help reshape the country and the world

Sorry to bother you (The Movie)

This independent movie made by rapper Boots Riley from the rap group "The Coup". Was something  Alicia and I saw previews on it and couldn't wait to see.  This strange and controversial movie is a strong commentary on labor and social interactions in our society today. It takes a turn towards the end but we left the theater with a good feeling about this creative well acted movie that critics are really ranting about.

In an alternate reality of present-day Oakland, Calif., telemarketer Cassius Green finds himself in a macabre universe after he discovers a magical key that leads to material glory. As Green's career begins to take off, his friends and co-workers organize a protest against corporate oppression. Cassius soon falls under the spell of Steve Lift, a cocaine-snorting CEO who offers him a salary beyond his wildest dreams

Get Out

Now that Chris and his girlfriend, Rose, have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy and Dean. At first, Chris reads the family's overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter's interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined

Oooooo.....K.  This movie has been talked about and admired by almost every critic out there because of its outrageous turn of horror as it pertains to racism.  Jordan Peele turns the blind eye of liberals not address ing their own racist thoughts and desires into a black mans nightmare.  Satirical in many ways but revealing the underlined comments of white liberals that doesn't compare to the old time southern racism we are use to seeing on screen from the lets go back to the good ole days.  Here's our thoughts.
