The Lion King (2019)

Disney's The Lion King opens in theaters July 19, 2019. Watch the new trailer now. Director Jon Favreau's all-new "The Lion King" journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny.

We go to the cinema to see the Live Action Lion King with a litany of stars doing the voices.  Based on the 1994 animated movie.  This is the new thing that Disney is doing with their animated movies.  Redoing them into live action movies.  We give our opinion of what are thoughts was as adults looking at a children's movie.

Isle of Dogs - Wes Anderson

Now Playing Everywhere ISLE OF DOGS tells the story of ATARI KOBAYASHI, 12-year-old ward to corrupt Mayor Kobayashi. When, by Executive Decree, all the canine pets of Megasaki City are exiled to a vast garbage-dump called Trash Island, Atari sets off alone in a miniature Junior-Turbo Prop and flies across the river in search of his bodyguard-dog, Spots.

So this movie is one of the ones I wanted to see.  Alicia was not aware of this movie and not aware this was a Wes Anderson movie as well.  Being a fan of his two previous amazing movies,  Moonrise kingdom and The Grand Budapest Hotel. I had to see this.  Also a fan of Japanese animation and culture.  I thought this would be a good comedy drama to see.
