On this episode, Sean and I review an R&B vocalist and a Female rapper.  We start with these generic terms because what we found was something we did not expect from these two artist that had us splitting up the reviews into two parts. Why - well you need to take a listen to understand how artist are called Artist.  With a great touch of high shelf production.

SZA & Sevyn Streeter Music Review

This podcast Sean and I move cross genre's to R&B and review the new releases By SevynStreeter and Sza.  To different types of singers with as you will hear to different production styles as well.  Which seems correct?

Solana Imani Rowe, better known by her stage name SZA is an American singer and songwriter. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, later relocating to Maplewood, New Jersey

Amber Denise Streeter, known by her stage name Sevyn Streeter, is an American singer and songwriter, best known for being a member of the girl groups TG4 and RichGirl where she was known as Se7en

Gorillaz & B.O.B review

This session Sean and I review the Gorillaz new release (plus a youtube video) "Humanz" (deluxe version).  This virtural english band has been doing alternative music since 1998.  with 4 animated members.  With a twist of what Genre we normally review this was a group I listen to in the past and Sean wanted a different feel to our review.

We finish the review with B.O.B one of our favorite rappers from Decatur Georgia with his new album Ether.  Clever lyrics with our Atlanta flavor floating all around this Album.  Is it too different?   Any way, two different artist/groups that we reviewed.

Chrisette Michele & the Black Community

This podcast we discuss the hot topic of Chrisette Michele and her controversial singing at Trumps inauguration.  Wellactually a one of the functions of the day of inauguration.  As twisted as it sounds, our thoughts are she could have spun the situation in her favor if she didn't sing but she didn't,  and even now after she did sing she could have done some things to help her appeal.  We debate the issue as well as bring humor to a sad situation.

J.Cole new Review

iTunes Review

4 Your Eyes Only plunges deep into J. Cole's soul.  You can clearly hear it in his voice - pleading testifying, on the verge of cracking.  At Center stage with no featured guest, The North Carolina rapper speaks out on social ills, black lives and doing the right thing in a world of wrong.

We plunge into this amazing artist with a old hip hop head and a Generation X perspective.  Sean and I go at it and gives props to an artist that steps away from the traditional rap perspective.

Introducing Flying Lotus

This episode we talk about Flying Lotus (Steven Ellison).  A Hip Hop instrumentalist that has become a hip hop darling  because of his work.  I followed him from Pandora to purchasing his work currently.  With the new artist coming out copying his style and the people on his label.  I wanted to give this Producer/artist/DJ/ etc., the credit that he deserves.
